Does AI read my journal?
Only when you ask it to. AI features (drafting, insights, dream interpretation, the feelings chat) run only in the moment you use them — nothing is scanned or read in the background. Your journal content is never used to train AI models, ours or anyone else's.
Do you ever read my messages, emails, or contacts?
No, never. My Souvenirs doesn't request access to any of these, and it's a permanent product boundary, not a setting that could change later.
Is there a free version?
Yes. Free includes manual journaling with mood and tags, 1 photo per entry, up to 5 close ones, up to 3 tracked patterns, location tracking and the moon calendar, and 3 themes — no card required, ever.
What happens to my data if I cancel Premium?
Your account and everything in it stay exactly as they are — cancelling only stops future billing and drops you back to the Free plan's limits going forward. Nothing you've already written is deleted, hidden, or locked. If you delete your account entirely instead, you get a 30-day window to change your mind before it's permanently erased.
Can I export my entries?
Yes, anytime, from Settings — both individual entries and your full journal, as PDF or Word documents.
How does the free trial work?
New Premium subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. You won't be charged until it ends, and you can cancel anytime before then from Settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — cancel from Settings whenever you want, no need to contact support. You'll keep Premium access through the end of the period you already paid for.
